National Rescue Network
- What we do
ARCHELON collects data on sea turtles (strandings, presence, nesting, etc.) from all marine and coastal areas of Greece with the assistance of local associations, fishermen, citizens, research institutes and environmental organizations as well as through ARCHELON’s Rescue Network.
- Rescue & Rehabilitation
When a dead or injured sea turtle is found, members of the Sea Turtle Rescue Network inform the nearest port authorities and The Sea Turtle Rescue Centre as soon as possible, to receive treatment and specialized care..
