Special 2-week volunteering opportunity on the nesting beaches – we need you this May and June!
On May 5th, ARCHELON’s Projects in Zakynthos, the Peloponnese, and Crete will begin, and volunteers from all over the world will start arriving at ARCHELON’s Field Stations. Normally, the minimum participation period for volunteers is 4+ weeks, but we have now opened the possibility for first-time volunteers to join for 2 or 3 weeks during May and June, in the early weeks when we urgently need your help!
SPECIAL 2–3 WEEK OFFER: Ideal for those with limited time who still wish to make a meaningful contribution to the protection of these endangered species. Volunteers will have the opportunity to help identify and protect the first nests of the season, assist with the setup of ARCHELON’s Field and Information Stations, and be part of the first volunteer team of 2025, laying the foundation for the rest of the season.
Participation is open to individuals 18 years and older, regardless of experience. Whether you’ve just graduated, are taking a break from your career, or enjoying retirement, there’s a place for you on the ARCHELON team. This experience not only allows you to contribute to sea turtle conservation, but also to live unforgettable moments in nature and share your knowledge and experiences with others. Don’t miss this opportunity to make a difference from day one. Learn more and apply here.
