A Wildlife Weekend at the Museum
On the weekend of October 3rd and 4th, to mark World Animal Day, ARCHELON participated in Wild Weekend, a two-day celebration dedicated to wildlife and its conservation hosted at the Goulandris Natural History Museum.

The event took place as part of the Greek Wildlife Alliance project, a collaborative effort involving 11 environmental non-governmental organizations that share a common vision: a world where wildlife and humans can coexist harmoniously.

Throughout the weekend, ARCHELON's stand was filled with children's voices, questions, and plenty of creativity! Visitors had the opportunity to learn more about sea turtles, their lives at sea, the threats they face, and the conservation efforts dedicated to protecting them. Through educational activities and games, children discovered the fascinating world of the Loggerhead sea turtle and expressed their love for these creatures through colorful drawings.

More than 3,000 visitors, both young and old, celebrated wildlife at the museum. This two-day event offered a wonderful opportunity to connect with families and nature enthusiasts, share knowledge, and be reminded that wildlife conservation begins with information and awareness. ARCHELON warmly thanks everyone who visited our stand, participated in the activities, and shared their curiosity and love for animals with us.
