On November 6th 2005, many friends of ARCHELON attended Alan Rees\' presentation \"Turtle Movements in the Mediterranean, Satellite Tracking\". ALan drew people\'s attention to a narration of the research methods followed for the sea turtle, analysing sources and results as well as thoughts about the future. The visitors, in a crowded room, took an active role, particularly when they took part in a demonstration of turtles\' route before or after nesting.
A comprehensive presentation with reference to several examples helped the audience to grasp a very complicated procedure, such as tracking sea turtles with a satellite transmitter.
By the end of the presentation we realized that our friends enjoyed the event, leaving with a very good understanding of the satellite tracking programme.
