AUTUMN RELEASES
"Bart" and "Vera" were released at Lagonisi, in Saronicos Sea with the help of ARCHELONsʼ volunteers, the members of the Rescue Network and the “AQUA DIVERS” people along with their inflatable boat. "Bart", an adult male of 38 kilos of weight, came from Zakynthos on 29th of August. His front left flipper was injured and he had fishing line ingestion.
"Vera", a very little turtle of just 1800 grams came from the Monastery of Aigina, on 29th of October, unwounded but with signs of exhaustion.
Moments, such as these, are rewarding for the hard work of all involved, especially for volunteers in the Rescue Centre and the coordinator of the Rescue Centre and Life Network Pavlos Tsaros.
