ARCHELON invites you to join its field projects and actively protect sea turtles and their habitats across the Peloponnese, including Kyparissia Bay, Lakonikos Bay, Koroni, Zakynthos and Crete, Rethymno, Chania, Messara Bay.

Current offers:

• Take advantage of the possibility of 2 weeks participation for new volunteers in May, September, and October. In May, you’ll record the first nests while in September and October, the last hatchlings need your protection.
• Come with a friend for 4 weeks, and you will both receive a 20% discount on your participation fees. Valid for new applications received from April 4th to May 30th.
• Become an Ambassador of ARCHELON and receive a 10% discount on your next participation.

If you care about the environment and want to get involved in hands-on conservation, this is your chance to join a meaningful collective effort.This experience is truly invaluable. As a volunteer, you will work directly to protect sea turtles by monitoring nests, supporting conservation measures, and helping hatchlings safely reach the sea. At the same time, you will gain hands-on scientific experience, develop practical skills in data collection and environmental communication, and take part in awareness activities that promote sustainability.

Beyond conservation fieldwork, volunteering with ARCHELON is also about connection, meeting people from all over the world, sharing a common purpose, and creating lasting memories through meaningful action.

ARCHELON welcomes volunteers from all backgrounds, aged 18 and above, with no prior experience required. You can participate as long as you speak English, are in good physical condition, and will bring your good will and enthusiasm to the project. Full training is provided, ensuring that everyone is prepared to contribute.
